About me
I founded Champions after working in care for over 20 years, driven by a passion to make a real difference in people’s lives. I strongly believe that person-centred care should be at the heart of everything we do, ensuring individuals feel valued, respected, and empowered. It was also important to me to create a workplace where staff feel appreciated, supported, and proud of the care they provide. Champions was built to create a positive environment for both learners and staff to thrive.
As a finalist in the 2019 and winner of Frontline leader Award, and winner of Dignity In Care 2022 at The Great British Care Awards. I am highly skilled, motivated and have a passion for improving people's lives. My long experience in managing the provision of hands-on care and support means I am able to accurately assess the needs of vulnerable adults on an initial and on-going basis. I am comfortable working with people with physical or learning disabilities, older people, and their families or carers. I am able to provide an innovative, efficient and outstanding service whilst maintaining a friendly and supportive environment for all. I enjoy the challenges and rewards of managing a caring service.
